The Club again hosted the North Devon WI for a Croquet Day and we were pleased to welcome 25 WI members for a round robin League competition between WI branches. The weather was superb and we are told that a great time was had by all. Congratulations to Lee WI, represented by Carolyn Couling and Enid Bowman, with worthy runners up Appledore WI, represented by Andrea Shorrock and Kathleen Hindley.

Congratulations to Appledore WI who were presented with their medals after winning the WI Croquet Tournament on a wet and soggy day.

The final WI Day of the year and this time played in warm sunshine. Featured below are the four finalists in the days tournament, and the successful doubles pair – The Barnstaple Bloomers . Congratulations to all and our thanks to the North Devon WI.
